Miami radio: what are your car presets?

For me:

FM1 WLRN, Y100, WMIA, WRMF, Lite, Wild 95.5
FM2 DJ106.7,Power, Coast, 103.5, 93.3, WIOD's 100.3 translator

AM1 WFTL, WIOD, WJNO, WBZT, 880, 590AM out of Clewiston
AM2 WMEN, WINZ, WAXY, WQAM, 740 and 1 left blank (I think it's tuned to 530 out of Cuba)

Hmmm... They change often, but generally it is:

FM: WDNA 88.9, WKCP 89.7, WFEZ 93.1, 93.9, 95.9 (for WSVU when in range), 97.3, 100.3 WIOD, 101.5, 102.7, KOOL 105.5, 107.9 -- When the pirate has been goone, 101.1 for whatever fringe reception I can get of WAVV near Naples

AM: 530 (Cuban easy listening), 590 (olides from Clewiston), 610 WIOD, 810 ZNS, 960 WSVU, 1540 ZNS2

Just out of curiosity, is 810 ZNS different than 1540 ZNS? What city in the Bahamas is it broadcasting from?

I thought 1540 was ZNS-1. When I last heard them, they were a mix of Reggae/Caribbean music, Talk and News. Even though they have Class I-B status, there's WRHC on 1550 in Coral Gables. I never understood how South Florida could have a fulltime station adjacent to a Class I-B station separated by only 50 miles of seawater. That would be like a station on 760 in Commack Long Island, next to 770 WABC.

And did FLjack2 mean 93.1 WFEZ? He listed 93.3.

1) Evolution 935
2) Coast 97.3
3) 93.9 MIA
4) Y-100
5) DJ 106.7
6) Sour 96

My only preset now gets audio from my smart phone. I listen to online radio in the car.

No Commericals! :)

I wonder for those of you who do the same what online stations do you listen too?

From iHeart, I love Evolution 93.5 for EDM, 106KMEL in San Fran for hip hop.
From TuneIn, I have Hot 108 Jamz, 1Power for hip hop. For EDM, Radio Danz, Energy 93 & 98 & my favorite Party 99.5 from Gainesville/UF country.

ZNS-1 & ZNS-3 simulcast all or part of the time.
The Bahamas stations are only protected within the Bahamas islands and both WRHC patterns null toward them.
WRHC (then WRIZ) originally used an array in Stiltsville, south of Key Biscayne, where they beamed a strong signal into Miami-Dade (then Dade) county.

Oh yeah, AM. I think (I rarely listen to AM) WIOD, WQAM, ESPN 790, the turnpike information station way up at the end, the last two still have the factory settings :)

I don't get to FM2 that often, usually if there's nothing going on at FM1 (ever notice that most Clear Channel stations go to commercials at about the same time?!?), I head over to XM (don't recall my presets there)

Oops, yes. Typo.

I find it interesting that some of us program our favorites in order. Others program in the order the stations fall on the dial. :)

I recently rented a car with Sirius radio in it. Although the stations were good, the programming was good, the quality SUCKED. I was very surprised since it's supposed to be "CD quality." The talk stations sounded like you were listening to them over the internet. The music stations were tinny and thin -- even when I changed the equalizer controls. After that experience, I would never pay for satellite radio.

Yeah me too!

TuneIn Radio is my choice App! Wide variety of stations, generally personality driven. Everything from news/talk, to sports to hip hop! I'm eclectic like that!
