Isn't Beasley about to get Sid Rosenberg for 560. And didn't Laz just raise 160k for his charity yesterday.
 
wth beasley has to be out of their leather chair to fire laz i could understand if he was a branzig type but he isnt!
 
I heard they were firingt DJ Laz, Joe Rose,the entire Kiss on-air staff, all management,sales people,Paul and Ron amd an NBC 6 photographer!
 
One thing I've learned here on this board is that you never take a one time poster seriously. Especially, if they're "breaking news."

Yeah, especially since this is his last post. I was shocked when reading this, but after reading your post SportsDotCom, I have realized that it could just be a hoax.
 
It's been my experience that when someone in radio gets fired they don't know about it until the second it happens.

This has to be the biggest load of crap ever mentioned in the history of Radio-Info.com. Think about it people, DJ Laz and his morning show help carry Power 96 in the ratings. If this is true about DJ Laz being canned, the suits at Beasley Broadcasting have got to be insane. There is no way that they will remain in the top 10 in the ratings here in Miami, if they carry on with letting DJ Laz go. If Laz is canned, it would be great if DJ Laz were to go to 93.9 MIA. Doubt that would happen, since CheapChannel will never ever do that. That would make too much sense for them to do that.
 
If DJ Laz gets fired, will he get a fulltime job endorsing cheezy 1-888-CASH-OUT-MY-AUTO-INSURANCE agencies? ;)

There is an item on another of the boards where some 18 34s were mentioned that said that mornings on WPOW had half the AQH persons as afternoons, and were a third lower than mid-days, and had the lowest share of any standard daypart. If that is so, such underperformance would indicate a need for a remake of the show.
 
Have they announced the date for Laz's last show? I sure don't want to miss it!
