Whooptie doo, so if you don't even get a carrier it means they've SIGNED OFF!!
There is NOTHING against the laws about a 24hr station signing off after it's complete sunrise to sunset operation.
If the station ca't properly operate at their night time lciensed parameters, they are allowed to sign off...... and no need to notify the FCC.
For a daytimer, they would have to complete 60 to 80 percent of their broadcast day, but since this station in question is a fulltimer it CANsign off at sunset with no penalties or ramifications.
in checking the FCC Database, they filed with the FCC in Mid 2006 for "digital notification", it hasn't been granted yet.. but you think, maybe.. just maybe.......they could be working on that? Tuning the audio and antenna system for HD would required them to sign off.... and being targeted towards people who are normally asleep at 150am, do you think it matters if theyre off?
If you don't know what you're talking about, check the facts first.. if you're still not sure, don't say anything.
