Mic Processor Connection?

I have a DBX mic Processor where the Mic input is XLR (Phantom Power). The Output is TRS.

What will be the proper connection on my Makie Mixer? I think if I come back on the XLR mic Input on the Mixer, Would'nt I be reintroducing the Mixer Mic Preamp again and defeating the Processor?

Is Line Level the way to go, or are there another way ?

You are thinking right. Go with the line level input. If unbalanced in on the Mackie, use the tip & sleeve of the DBX output. If balanced in on the Mackie, use tip(+) & ring(-) of the DBX output. Connect the shield to the sleeve of
either the DBX or Mackie, but not both.

I use the DBX into a Yamaha mixer. I go into the INSERT, one click, and it
bypasses the mixer pre and eq and sounds much cleaner that way.
The DBX pre and eq are better than the ones on the mixer.

Add me to the list of line level. I use a Berhringer mixer and it seems using the 1/4 sounds cleaner than the XLR. Though if you have inserts that would be the best method.
