Reno/Carson City Mice take down KBZZ

KBZZ filed a silent STA Today. A mouse infestation took out the power supply portion of the transmitter. Winter weather may also make the transmitter site inaccessible, as it on a hilltop.

Translator K245DC is also going silent as per FCC regulations.
 
KBZZ has had nothing but problems lately. First their transmitter site was vandalized and it took the better part of a year to get back online, and now this!

Oh, well. I hope they get things fixed as soon as practical, but in the meantime, I can once again enjoy KVMI out of Tulare, whose format I like better in general (not this time of year so much; I can only take Christmas music in small doses).
