Folks, the song Home, from his It's Time CD is so good! I caught it on the end of the Wedding Date movie. My wife LOVES it!! Bought her the CD and have also caught it on my local AC outlet. The rest of the CD is perhaps a little too stylized for AC radio. Where in the cycle is this song? Is it still new on radio? Is it on the way out? Please discuss.

Burn is nil...it still lights up our phones w/ "who's that?". We've gotten away with a few of the other cuts in AM drive as a novelty but don't see any of them adding anytime soon.

And his sexy Starbucks ad doens't hrut either ;-)

Our local AC station has been playing, in fact most have. Its a pretty good song, but a bit soft for me. Obviously I am not the target. My mother really enjoys the song also.<P ID="signature">______________

"Home" is the male counterpart to Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why". A nice pleasant song that is distinctive, yet blends well in an AC or Adult Standards playlist.

We shall see if Michael can follow it with anything else that is equally radio-friendly. IMO, Norah took a stumble when she followed her hit with "Come Away With Me". That song was just too soft even for AC, and any number of tracks from her debut album would've worked better; my favorite is "Turn Me On".

Another 'standards' singer who ought to get more attention from AC radio is Harry Connick, Jr. His combination of looks, voice, and musical talent is a rare find these days.
