Michael Delgiorno Going National

I don’t see either happening. I personally don’t care for Kuhner but he seems to be a decent lead-in for the WRKO talk schedule.

As for 1200, they’re already saving money with Jim Polito. He’s locally syndicated on 5 stations in Massachusetts & Rhode Island.

This is why I like listening to KCJJ more than the local AM stations around KC. As Steve Bridges has said numerous times, "If it came down to running that syndicated political stuff on my station or turning in the license, I'd turn in the license". Though Michael Delgiorno was on air in KC, I never heard him.

He was on-air in KC in the late 80's, I believe. He's part of the same DelGiorno family from New Orleans that was on WWL for decades, and I believe his dad owned a handful of stations in the Texarkana area.

I was briefly an intern at a station he PD'ed. I interacted with him rarely and never had any problems with him, but he's always had quite a reputation. I don't remember his politics being as radical back then as they've been for the last 20 years, but I doubt he had to change much.

Oh ok, thanks for the info

There's a thread about Michael DelGiorno in the Formats section on the News/Talk page.

iHeart is syndicating him to a few stations in the Eastern and Central Time Zones that can't afford a local morning host. But he's also going on some stations in the West when Coast to Coast AM ends and they don't want to repeat those hours of George Noory. DelGiorno does wake-ups on 1510 WLAC Nashville and his show is now syndicated by Premiere Networks. It airs 6 to 9 a.m. Eastern.

I would like to see George Noory's Coast to Coast AM get rebroadcast all or in-part. during the day on WRKO or AM1200.
A little break from conservative politics.

Coast to Coast has conservative guests like Jerome Corsi and others, as well as a conservative news segment at the top of the hour as part of the show.

It was around 2015 when Kuhner started saying they were going national. He had bounced around different time slots including late morning, noon, then AM drive. Rush L had moved to 1200...at one point he said one other station was carrying him--oops, carried parts of his show..I forget where, weak station.
His wife Dr Grace Vuoto was on 1260 or 1060 for awhile I think.
In 2013 during the Marathon bombings they had him do a live show at 7 pm

The Koonah Man had been at a DC station for awhile and did fill ins for Savage ("border, language, culture, buy my books, I'll be right back").

Bob Delgiorno was the one that owned a bunch of stations in Texarkana. Had to sell every single one because of what was described as financial reasons.

1430 (which, yes, had a pretty weak signal) picked up Rush and the other syndicated Premiere conservative talk shows when WRKO dropped Rush. Worth noting, WMEX had Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity on their lineup around that same time, Premiere offered them Rush. WMEX said no, and 1430 got both shows.

And yes, 1430 was a pain to pull in.

Pretty sure that's his dad. I heard the stations went dark and were up for sale. Not really too surprising. That’s a tough place to make money.

Wait... Michael DelGiorno is going national, but Krazy Kuhnah hasn't gone national yet, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe?
Hell will freeze over before "gooner" goes national, and, that's a good thing! Haven't listened to him for years and trust me Polito on Talk1200 isn't any better, I don't listen to him either, I'd rather listen to the sounds of birds chirping in the morning, that's much more pleasing, no drama, no BS, no nonsense!
