Michael Franks Interview on KUR

A friend of mine who has friends at Kutztown University Radio (KUR) in Pennsylvania (they do kind of a quasai smooth jazz/soul/gold format half time) has tipped me off that KUR will be airing a 15-minute interview with Michael Franks this coming Wednesday the 20th at 2:45 p.m. eastern. I know there's a lot of Michael Franks fans here so you may want to check it out. I know the guy who does the interviews (they interview someone every week) always asks good questions about the radio and smooth jazz business. Check it out.

Let's hope he asks him about his inspiration for penning "Mr. Smooth." ;D

You don't have to ask him about Mr Smooth-It's been a known fact it's about a certain person at BA

A little sarcasm on my part. Knew that already, as well the subsequent BA blackballing of Franks that ensued.

That was really healthy for the format-get rid of one of the main vocalists who helped create the format because you don't like a song he wrote about you.
You reap what you sow-Thank you Michael for telling the truth-F..K BA
