Michael Graham to Philly

Greater Media plans to flip 97.5 in Philadelphia to all-talk. Among the changes, WTKK middayer Michael Graham will be transplanted to Philly to do afternoons on the new talk station, which will have Imus mornings.

will be tough to believe any rumor today, even if this is true (April Fools Day though who knows). If indeed
true couldn't GM conceivably (based on what time slot they give him) do a simulcast with TKK?

I heard Graham this morning take a call from a woman who tried to point out the irony of Graham, a Bush supporter, calling out Barack Obama for making a confusing statement. It had the potential to be a funny and insightful segment. She was quite pleasant and polite about it, but he immediately turned it into, "how can you think Obama would be a good president?"

Tough to do good call-in talk radio when you don't actually listen to the callers.

The only thing GM should be moving around is simulcasting Preston & Steve from WMMR up to one of the GM owned rock stations in Boston.

The irony of Michael Graham? He's a self described conservative yet he opposes the death penalty. What more do you need? He's just very annoying to listen to.

When Obama won the South Carolina primary, Graham predicted that he wouldn't win a another one, not even Illinois.

It would have ben nice to hear that caller answer the question without bringing Obama's skin color into the discussion.
