Michael Jackson and Radio

I am so sorry to hear that Michael Jackson has passed away. Despite all the drama surrounding his life. He did have so much talent.

On the news, some reporters who are covering the story, are saying that some radio stations across the country are switching to all Michael Jackson music in honor of his death. I am curious if any stations in New England are doing this.

STAR in Burlington is playing a bunch of MJ, but not *all* MJ.

Wow, memories! Thriller was the first of three CD's that 95 TripleX played directly on air (not from cart)....that was way back in the day when CD players cost many hundreds of bucks. For the time I worked there I don' think I ever remember an hour going by without an MJ tune going out over the air.

There is no word to describe just how big MJ's music was back then!

Regards,
Joe

MGX has been playing MJ (not wall to wall though) since last night. The morning show was mostly MJ this morning. Their Saturday night 80's show will be all MJ, I believe.
