Michael Jackson Channel

Channel 50 is now a 'Michael Jackson' channel. Limited run. We'll see how that turns out.

I suspect they make good money from the record companies on this. But with a couple of exceptions (e.g. The Beatles) there are no artists that I can stand in a single artist format. Stop the single artist channels PLEASE!!!
 
Yes, single artist channels are a way they get around the commercial free rules. And because it's approved by the label, it gets around the DMCA rule that specifically forbids multiple songs by the same artist.

So no, they won't stop these things. Jackson has a new album out, and this channel is designed to help market it.

I believe there may be a solution: choose another station.
 
I watched "Riot" on Fox this week and they had a game where everyone had to use a Michael Jackson song title.

Losers got jerked up by a rope.
