Michael Jackson Programming Guide For Friday 6.25.10

The New York Daily News has compiled a list of broadcast and cable networks that will be airing programming related to Michael Jackson on Friday, the one-year anniversary of his death.

Predictably, MTV is scheduling only two hours of Michael Jackson programming, from 5-7 PM. Meanwhile, their sister station VH1 will not only be rebroadcasting the five-hour miniseries "The Jacksons: An American Family" starting at noon, but at 11:30 PM, they will air an episode of the program "Famous Crime Scenes" in which Jackson is apparently involved. Classy.

"The Jacksons" miniseries has been played to death so many times in the last few weeks (really over the last year-plus), between both VH1 and TV One. I think BET has played it on occasion a few times recently, along with their seemingly monthly Sunday airings of "The Color Purple".

Also, TV One will air Michael Jackson's 30th anniversary special (as a solo artist) that was broadcast on CBS several years ago from Madison Square Garden. It airs Friday night 8pm ET.
