Michael Kay Show: How's Bonnie Doing?

Lately, 1050 ESPN has welcomed former CBS Sports sideline reporter Bonnie Bernstein as a co-host of Michael Kay's afternoon show. Some say it is just one more voice fighting for airtime alongside LaGreca and Salvia as well as Kay. One thing I notice, when Bonnie speaks, it's as if the other hosts are afraid to step on her, they'll just let her spend valuable seconds searching for a thought, whereas on the old show, you could hear the male hosts talk over one another. Yes, there is a thing I am aware of called respect, in the form of being a gentleman, but when it comes to talk radio, dead air is not called for. With that said, Bonnie does bring sports knowledge to the table. Time will tell if the ratings are good to her, and the show, and the station, as well.

Just to stir the pot a little... Anyone see Daily News columnist Bob Raissman write that he suspects "tension in the air" when Kay, Bernstein and LaGreca are all talking at once?
