Michael Krasny Will Be Interviewed on KQED Forum Today

Yes, that's right. Michael Krasny will be interviewed today by Dave Iverson on KQED Forum. Why? It's his 20th anniversary as Forum host.
 
Highlight of the last 20 years: I liked it when he was speaking at the graduation at Sonoma State and Savage,who was there to see his son graduate, started shouting at him from the audience.

Really? What did the Savage Weiner yell?
 
Unless something happened as well at SSU, the incident happened at my alma mater, Redwood High in Larkspur, where Krasny was giving the keynote speech and Savage's daughter was in the graduating class. I think it was around '92 (I graduated in '90 and wasn't there to see it).
 
My favorite Savage story is from an SF Gate/Chronicle article a few years ago that described him as a "beatnik" hanger-on, who tried to establish a relationship in the 50s with Allen Ginsberg, who was having none of it. The other story in the article had to do with Savage happening upon a SFPD action in the 90s or early 00s that was being filmed by TV cameras. He reportedly heckled the camera operators, and shouted at them to stop harassing the police. As it turned out, the camera crew were there filming for a Cops type reality show, and were not there to harass.
 
lou You might be right - although Savage has been lots of places (except the UK) and has do a lot of shouting
