Michael Nasser passing

Many of you who worked at KODA and The Planet back in the day will remember Michael Nasser, a hard-working, hard-playing member of those fabulous Radio teams. Michael lost his battle with cancer a week ago today.

I hadn't seen anyone else post about this, and there may be many who worked with Michael who are not aware. There is a very nice write up about him at this link: http://www.commercial-news.com/obituaries/local_story_276012243.html

A service for Michael will be held Saturday (10/11) in Dallas at the Prestoncrest church of Christ, according to the article. It is my understanding that some of his friends are trying to cook up a "Big Chill" tribute to Michael in Houston...perhaps those details can be added here at a later time.

Michael was a terrific member of our team in Houston, and I know he was highly respected by the people he worked with in Dallas. He was just a wonderful guy to work with and be around.
I was proud to know him and count him as my friend.
He will be missed.
