I heard through the grapevine that Michael P. (Magic 105 alumnus) passed away this week.

Magic 105's Michael P. Langley, longtime newsman for the Rock and Roll Breakfast died yesterday as the result of a heart attack...

Funeral arrangements are pending in his hometown of El Dorado..

RIP...
 
Michael P. and I worked together for a very brief period a number of years ago. He always impressed me as being very talented. I was so sorry to hear about his passing.
 
Mike gave me my very first job in radio back in 1979 when he was the PD of a small AM station in El Dorado. I had no idea. Does anyone have any more information about it?
 
He was waiting for pace-maker to be implanted and died before the surgery could be done.
