Michael Reagan: Stick a fork in him - he's done! (Well, almost.)

Wow, so much misinformation in just a few sentences!

Libertarianism like Communism only work in theory.

Not going to debate you on this in this venue. Call the show and we can talk about it. 800-259-9231 Mon-Sat, 7-10p ET. Easiest to get on if you call at 7.

This is why FTL is not picking up affiliates.
So, going from 2 - 46 in less than five years of syndication is "not picking up affiliates"? ???

What happen with your previous syndicatior Genesis Communication Network?
They are still my syndicator and have been since day one of syndication for FTL. Since we first began our relationship in 2004, GCN has expanded to a second ABC Starguide III channel and upgraded their backhaul to ABC. They also adopted a Clear Channel Less-is-More compliant clock that I designed for them. They are doing better than they ever have, and FTL is their most popular and fastest growing program.

They are doing a fine job with The Power Hour and The Alex Jones Show.
I don't represent their other programs. Some are definitely still on the kooky side, but that doesn't really affect me. GCN doesn't cramdown shows to their affiliates like the big corporate players do, so I needent be concerned with any other show besides my own.

Why not put your show on the shortwave band?
Shortwave is not in my business plan. How many listeners do you know that have SW receivers?

See, even you admit a bit of "kookiness" on some of these shows. By that standard of comparison, you're almost mainstream compared to the the conspiracy talkers and weird shows!

But this ties into what you and I were talking about earlier...where I said your "pro-liberty" "free state" rhetoric tied you in, in the minds of many listeners including myself, with the kind of shows you say are "still on the kooky side" on the syndication outlet which carries FTL.

And we're not even talking shortwave, in this case. :)

GCN is considered a lunatic fringe outfit and those shows define it. IMHO, of course.

Don 62, he just want knuckle dragger's talk 24/7. Why would he want to model after Michael Reagan when his adoptive brother Ron Reagan one hour show have more affiliates than Ron Reagan's new show.
What are you talking about? Who wants that?

I understand where you're coming from, but it really doesn't affect the listener of the program as when we're lined up next to other mainstream talkers, we fit in fine. I'd say most of the other shows at GCN are the conspiracy genre, not liberty-oriented. That said, I can see how some would be confused at the outset. Of course, when I market my program, GCN is simply the delivery method that PDs usually only discover when they've already sampled our program and take a look at our show clock for satellite details. Program Directors are pointed to my affiliate recruiting site, not GCN's, so they aren't being pitched any other shows by me. Yes, GCN has affiliate relations people pitching their shows out there, but I'm far more effective at getting new affiliates for FTL than they are.

GCN professionally produces and distributes FTL. We have a great relationship - Ted Anderson is a good guy who appears to be prospering even on the kooky shows.

Nice title, ----.
And for cripe's sake, don't start whining about this thread being highjacked. You're the one who started this whole argument by posting under your real name and savaging a superior competitor's show.

If you run your show like you post here, what does that say about your temperment as a host?

You're certainly no Jim Bohanon, G. Gordon Liddy, Bruce Williams, The Black Avenger, Alan Berg or Frasier Crane. :D

I'd stack 10 minutes of any of those other great hosts against your miniscule show any day.

Keep posting the same lame accusations. It doesn't hold a candle to real world profit and growth. :D

Speaking of growth, the Fall 2008 numbers are in for Tampa and we grew WFLA's M25-54 Saturday night numbers 400% from a .5 in Spring (pre-FTL) to a 2.0 in the Fall! 8)

The new 1 hour show is avaible online. There is even live video.

If it's radical to support an end to aggression in human relationships, then I'm a radical, and proud of it.

Also, we brought our guns and gold to New Hampshire, not Montanta:
The Free State Project | Liberty Lives in New Hampshire

;)
and after you advocated for a lower age of sexual consent, and right before ALL your computer equipment was seized by the Feds as part of a kiddie porn ring the Free State folks ran you out of their part of the Shire.

But then again, you are in some deep doggy doo doo with the Feds right now over Bitcoin and alleged money laundering, among other things
