Michael Richards on Jesse Jackson Radio show

As part of his "mea culpa" tour of AMERICA, actor/comic MICHAEL RICHARDS stopped by CLEAR CHANNEL's syndicated Rev. JESSE JACKSON's show "KEEP HOPE ALIVE" SUNDAY morning to apologize for his now-infamous racial outburst at HOLLYWOOD's LAUGH FACTORY comedy club.
RICHARDS, best known for his role as "KRAMER" on "SEINFELD," told JACKSON what he had told DAVID LETTERMAN the previous week. He claimed that he is not a racist, had never used such language before, and that the outburst was out of unrestrained anger and not due to racism. JACKSON told RICHARDS that his tirade was "hateful" but said that the incident, widely distributed in video on the Internet, was a chance to launch further discussion about "cultural isolation" in the entertainment industry.
