Michael Savage Update?

His new deal with Cumulus.... The company that wanted kinder and gentler conservative talk radio, is for 9 to midnight.

He just made it to the land of insignificance.

Isn't that the same land of insignificance you get Mike Huckabee? (whom I like, by the way)

Huckabee is on at Noon. Huckabee is actually gaining some ground. I think he is up to over 200 affiliates. It'll be interesting to see what KRC does, now that Savage will be live at 9PM. This could upend a bunch of things. I am pretty sure that my guys will not take Savage at 9 PM.

This could be the reason for the 'KRC translator. Who knows? ???

There's at least one FM in the market that could be had, fairly cheap. If someone had the cash and really wanted to do something....

jry, listened to 'your guys' Notre Dame coverage today while doing yard work...you may want to let them know they should quit airing promos for Savage at Noon and Wildman at 5pm...just sayin'... ;D

1160 needs to update their website and Facebook pages. The home page still has a promo for Huckabee for 3-5 and the "Sports" tab needs to be updated. Program schedule and sports info on their Facebook under their "About" section needs to be updated also.

Yes. it was Levin last night, as I expected. (Isn't he 10-midnight though?)

Is this a day to day situation about who's going to be on 55KRC in the evenings?

Are things changeable this quickly?

I've got my fingers crossed for a Savage PM appearance.

Yes, I stand corrected, Levin is only for 2hrs, 10pm-12m. 840 WHAS carries all 3hrs of his show.

And your point?

I only see it as all the more reason to strike a great deal to your mutual advantage to return Dave to the air in Cincy if WKRC leaves him behind. You've got tower(s). They may need a Cincy clearance. And they seem to be very flexible if cleared live.

You said that i should give them a jingle. So, i just mentioned that as a way of saying that calling them wouldn't be a problem.
I would love to see Dave back home on 1160.....
However, this sentiment is now tempered with the fact that the guys have made some pretty good changes in their programming lineup.

If you really mean "anywhere", try streaming him on KSFO available on iHeart Radio.

That's what I've been doing.

Just heard a blurb tonight on KCMO AM 710 in Kansas City that Savage will return to the airwaves here next Wednesday at 8 PM central time. Perhaps a Cincy station will pick him up again now that he's going to be coming back on the air.

As previously stated, he is in the land of insignificance. Most of the Cumulus experience is in Music. The back story is that no one is really working with him. Coaching, advising, whatever. They may be afraid of him. I think his affiliate count is at 120, give or take a few.
I think he expected to just show up and everyone would be running to take the show. Ain't happening. Furthermore, i think that they have something lined up for Cincy but, not at 1160.
