Guys, I have to tell you. I thought I did a pretty good job scarfing up most of the great music that has been produced from years gone by, but I continue to come across fantastic projects that I have overlooked because of their relative obscurity. For example, I just scored Michael Sims' 2003 release "Room With A Groove," and WOW!!---what an appropriately titled CD---not a single throwaway in the bunch. How did I miss this one???? :
And as long as I am talking about overlooked gems, I might as well throw out another one I recently came across. You guys have heard me rave about keyboardist Allon Sams before. Well, I just scored his forgotten "Bayshore" release from 2000. Fantastic vibe, just like the rest of his stuff. What a talented guy.
Stumbling across these wonderful efforts reminds me that there is an endless supply of great music this genre has produced to keep playlists fresh for years!!!
