This morning I listened to Michelle McPhee on WTKK. I don't think I've ever agreed with her position, but this morning's topic was enough for me to write her off for good. She talked about a study that says kids who are spanked have a higher rate of risky sexual behavior as adults. Of course, she thinks the study is B.S. and sang the praises of beating your kids. After all, she was beaten as a child and nothing is wrong with her, she said.
Her callers all agreed - otherwise, of course, she hangs up on them - and she fondly walked down memory lane describing the method of beatings (wooden spoons, switches, etc). She laughingly told a story of how the sound of a belt being pulled out of pant loops still makes her shudder.
What a loser. I hope this woman never has kids.
