Mickey mouse news

Noticed early this morning that 1430 has silently changed to a news format. Not sure if there is any talk. No more mickey mouse on 1430. I first thought i was hearing WPLN.

It would be a return to news for 1430 as it has been all news before.

May keep 1430 on a preset now.

Overnight they are using World Radio Network WRN. Radio Australia is on until 7am which is what initially made me think I was hearing WPLN yesterday.

Man that night lobe to the SW is sharp. I can hear WOWW fine at Summer and Sycamore View but not at all really at all between Summer and Covington Pike on 40. I also remember hearing 1430 pretty well in midtown at night back in the 90s and it's buried and unidentifiable now. I wonder if the night time pattern is out or if the grounding is still ok at the TX site. I can hear WMPS with 250 watts better than WOWW with 2500. Yes there is comparison between the two frequencies as 1210 is pretty clear here at night
