The counterweight of my 303 runs freely on the arm. I noticed that there's an hole on it wich I presume that is used to place a screw to fix it. When new was there a screw supplied? And how to calibrate it?...

The 303 was designed with a FIXED counter weight. It is not supposed to to move at all. The desired tracking force is accomplished by adding weight to the front end inside the head shell.
