For the past few weeks, have been getting an unID-1.590 poking through the noise floor up here in Boston, which is // either 95 or 105 "dot-1, Jack-FM" (and it is not W286BB, Ocean Pine/City MD!).

Are you sure it's not WAMS-MD? I thought the JACK-FM network was syndicated by Dial Global, but stations can do their own thing (KCBS-FM and KJAQ-FM are examples). I can't find any other Jack's on 1590. There is a 1590 in ND that is Rock, but it's not Jack-FM (the ex-KCNN in Grand Forks, I forget the calls).

Jack is syndicated via Dial for markets < 50 where the format is delivered by satellite. In the larger markets, the format is customized to each individual market and is generally locally researched and programmed using the Jack guidelines.
