Mid-Days @ The Wolf

Anyone know what is going on at The Wolf with the mid-day shift. Did they find anyone yet or is Ali taking on the shift full time.

for those in the know, why wouldn't they offer mid days to ...j d ...?
is he more a morning or afternoon guy? also they are running a commercial about the consignment center with eddie and nickie landry. altho they don't actually identify her as nickie landry.
also, what happened to the saturday morning show ...j d ...shared with eddie, playing old country requests?

Yeah that was dropped about a month ago when Nikki left. I'm guessing it didn't do to well. And besides, I have noticed The Wolf has been playing mainly new country with somewhat of an emphasis on 90's country. On-Air they have been using the slogan "Non-Stop Fresh Country". And it seems to be doing pretty well according to the recent ratings. It would be very cool to see if entercom could do something similar to CBS "Young Country" concept back in the 90's. That was the most entertaining radio I have ever heard. And the best part about it was people didn't just tune in for the music, but also for the DJ's. Unlike today, where its just about the music.

Now as for J.D doing mid-days. I was thinking they could Bring JD for afternoons and move Keola Lui-Kwan back to nights and drop the Alan Kabel synidicated show. And then find someone to do mid-days, but I really can't think of anyone who could do it. Ali actually has done pretty well, so maybe she wouldn't be a bad fit. Is anyone doing the overnight shift at The Wolf from 12am-5am. I was listening online the other day and the Bay area time was 4am and I heard someone ending there show and talking about what Ken & Corey got in store for today. Anyone know who that is? and when did he start?

Just announced that Micki Gamez who is actually Michelle Taylor who works mid-days on Channel 9-5-5 (WKQI) Detroit will be taking over the mid-day shift beginning July 20th. I got to tell you, i'm happy for her, but aso kind of sad. Michelle is a fantastic talent, will be missed in Detroit.

I'm sorry ... Michelle Taylor is the name she was born with, and she uses the name "Micki Gamez" on the air?

That's it. I'm going back to calling myself Arturo "El Camaron Loco" Avila.

Her real name is Micki Gamez. She uses Michelle Taylor for WKQI and the stations that she voicetracks.
