Mid-West Family Broadcasting purchased the assets of Maverick Media in 2013. They include WRTB-FM and W263BJ. IN Rockford, Midwest owns WRTB, Rock WXRX-FM, AC WGFB-FM and News-Talk WNTA-AM. On 2/21 it debuted Country 95.3 The Bull and Classic Hits 100.5 The River-FM.

Makes more sense. Kinda surprised they got rid of NTA-FM, which was their local talk format, but again budget cuts and I don't think Mid-West Family runs local talk stations.

NTA-FM (or now The River) is actually the translator for WXRX HD-2. It used to be the format of 1330 WNTA before it went All Comedy Radio, and now Spanish.
