I have noticed that the station of Gradick Communications, which are the stations B-92, Kiss 102.7, WLBB 1330 AM, and WKNG 1060, and Clear Channel of Mid-West Georgia, which are Magic 98.1 FM, 720 the Voice, and WCOH AM 1400 are going through some major changes in the line ups. I think Carroll, Coweta, and Douglas Counties are going to be a hot bed of action for listenership. Clear channel has got Troup county locked up soild. Gradick's signals can't get down that way. However, all three of Clear Channel stations are reaching into Carroll County. WKNG AM 1060, WLBB 1330 AM and B-92 are reaching into Coweta and Douglas. I have a feeling that a little competion is going to break out in the next few years.

Have you seen Graddick's numbers in Carroll county? They are nothing short of horrible! B92, the dominate signal in Carrollton, is at 27th place, 12+. It doesn't get much better when you tighten the demos. KNG probably has the best numbers but they are of the 65 to dead demo.
The CC stations beat the s**t out of Gaddick IN CARROLLTON!!That is pathetic! But it is no wonder.....Steve has fired or run off every person at B92, with the exception of Mitch, that made it sucessful.I have heard the paychecks are bouncing too.....
Reminds me of the guy who used to own "The Whistle" in Breman, years ago. He used to pay the staff with Whitewater tickets! I know it is tough to be a small operation in the suburbs, up against ClearChannel and ABC/Cap Cities, but B92 was very profitable before Steve and Les bought it.
And you know, it's a shame, because B92 sounds better,formatically and technically, than it ever has!

I think Gradick is doing some things to change the numbers around and get them going in the right direction. I have heard the main reason why so many people left Carrollton radio is because of Gradicks former PD who left about a year ago. WKNG and WCOH are for the 65 and up crowd. Like Gradick, I have heard the GM with CC has run off or gotten rid several good people. Plus, Gradick got rid of the toupee.
