I noticed a couple of changes in middays at New Country 101-5. Like The Bert Show down the hall, Kincaid & Dallas, 101.5's morning show, is now on until 11AM. Then from 11AM-3PM is a new show, Amanda & Garrett. Amanda is (still) the producer of Kincaid & Dallas, and Garrett is a morning show cast member.
Both of these changes are opposite The Bull's Angie Ward, one of the very best in the business IMHO. Amanda & Garrett are flanked by the talented Dallas & Kincaid and another superior talent, afternoon drive host Lucas Phelan.
I applaud WKHX for trying Amanda & Garrett in middays. My first impression was that they are not at the level of talent and experience of their colleagues, but I realize the show is brand new. I'll listen again in a month or so.
