Was thinking that today, seems like Melissa covers weekends too.

I wonder who they could get would seem maybe there hiring as we speak, I'm sure at some point there going to have weekend mix shows like the quiet storm or something. I'm loving the playlist right now ppl come into my work and say wow haven't heard that song in years what station is that!!

Sounds like Rhythmic CHR is now old enough to have its own gold library. I'd imagine there isn't too much focus-group research available on this music yet, which may be why the "wow" factor is high right now -- the station is just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. I'd expect the research to be done over the next year or two as more stations add rhythmic gold to their playlists, and you'll start hearing only the songs that test well.

Just hope they make the station sound local and not have transplant jocks that act like they know Boston Metro, when they don't. Like NY's 92.3-NOW's former launch jocks did, by saying thing's only a tourist or new-be in town would do..
