The December 2012 survey period covers Thu. 11/8/12-Wed. 12/5/12.

The next survey period will be for Holiday 2012 covering Thu. 12/6/12-Wed. 1/2/13 with the report release date being Tue. 1/22/13.

I used to enjoy reading the "Station Ratings" but now many of stations are no longer listed as Arbitron has a pay for play policy.

Many of the stations are not listed therefore the information is misleading. Instead of looking at the ratings like everyone else I'm just trying to count the number of stations not listed which in various market is anywhere from 50% - 90%.

It would be better that Radio Discussions completely drop the ratings page and forget about ratings. Likewise station owners would be wise in unsubscribing from Arbitron and just tell it like it is to advertisers. National Advertising Companies supposedly still have all the rating data so you don't need to subscribe.

Josh...you may just have nailed the reason why Arbitron just sold out to Nielson TV Ratings. Although Arb did pay a dividend this past quarter, it may well have been their last. CC and other big chains are renegotiating their contracts, or just dropping the service alltogether. They're pocketing the coin, doing EXACTLY as you suggested, letting the the national ad agencies pay for it.

That was the case for a while (when only NJ101.5, Magic 98.3, WAWZ, and WCTC would be listed here), but now I'm seeing all the stations that I would expect to see on the list.

Visit "Trenton, NJ" station ratings. You will see two stations listed, yet the market is saturated with numerous stations.
