"Midnight Cowboy" and "Airport Love Theme"?

Ferrante and Teicher's, piano based, Top 10 hit "Midnight Cowboy" (1969) and Vincent Bell's Top 40 hit, "Airport Love Theme" (1970) both feature the "water-drop" guitar sound employed by Vincent (Vinnie) Bell who was a studio musician. There's also orchestration. Would either, or both of these, fit a Beautiful Music format or show, or is Bell's electric guitar too busy, at least on "Midnight Cowboy"? Were one or both actually used?
