With the surprise move of WHBA-101.7 to dance-formatted "The Evolution 101-7" (and new call letters spelling-out
"Evolution" likely to come soon), I think there's now a chance that not one, but two local Greater Media stations might be changing formats in the next two weeks.
I still think there's a good chance one Greater Media station (probably WTKK-96.9) will go Urban or Rhythmic CHR, perhaps in time for New Year's Eve.
But now, with no "Jack" or "Mike"-type format (as WHBA was), I think Greater Media may now "blow-up" a second local FM station (probably WBOS-92.9) and replace it with a "Jack"-type station.
But as Radio Insight.com reported that a couple of "Jack" and "Mike"" Internet domains have been registered for 96.9, is there an outside chance that 96.9 could go "Jack" and perhaps and 92.9 go Urban or Rhythmic CHR??
