Just wondering, did I miss an announcement? Has Mike officially gotten the night slot? Last night in the intro, Pete Gustin announced "The Mike Adams Show"

D&C said this morning that it's not "Official" yet - but it's almost a done deal.

Congrads Mikey! He's sounded good the few times I was able to catch him at night. . .

Is he still going to sell cars in the morning as a "just in case"?? hehe

Yeah--I missed the first night he was on but the next night, after the "Ted
is gone" announcement, he got on at 7 pm and the show was called "WEEI At
Night". Then he was on the next night (after Red Sox game) and it was he
and John Rish and they called it "Red Sox Wrap Up". Well, the Sox wrapped
the playoffs up after three short nights so now I guess it's just the Mike
Adams show, or will be.

Congrats, Mike...sense of humor, knowledge of sports, upbeat voice. Meanwhile,
isn't it fun to hear J.T. The Brick moan about the Yankees loss? His intro
last night had him doing a mock play-by-play of A-Rod hitting into that
doubleplay in the 9th. "A-Rod is a dog! He's a dog with fleas!", he continued.
LOL!

Nobody in the Boston sports talk arena better than Adams, good for him.

The morning man at WMJX-106.7 is Mike Addams, spelled with two "D"'s.

This Mike Adams is a veteran Boston radio and TV sports reporter and host.

If Mike Adams indeed gets the nighttime slot on WEEI-850 on a "permanent" basis, he probably can give up working for Medford Ford......except that he may still work there a few days a year for recording/filming their radio and TV commercials, for which he'd be their spokesman.
