Mike Ambrose a.k.a. Capt. Mike Ch 10 Weatherman

In the 1960's, I believe Mike Ambrose was on KDEO/91 and later on 136/KGB. Later, he had the weatherman gig on KGTV Ch 10 San Diego. Any news??? I'm sure he probably retired or perhaps is looking down from the other side of the white puffy clouds, that shroud San Diego on a daily basis.

Sadly right on both counts. Mike retired in 2001 and died in 2008. He was 69.
