Mike Bell R.I.P.

WOW..What a loss to the broadcasting industry. I have to say, Mike was one of the funniest, natural talents i've had the honor to work with. He made my working over nites at 96X pay off at our cross-over leading into the morning show. I loved his sense of humor. :'( R.I.P. Mike Bell, thanks for having been a great person to work with.

Wow...A shock indeed....I remember listening to him when he was "Mad" Mike Bell and I was only a kid with dreams, on the short lived Mainstream CHR incarnation of Hot 105, ca. 1987-88. Think I bugged him on the request lines, too.

Some of his other stops I believe were WQAM, and WGBS, towards the end of that station's AC music format.

Rest in peace. Too young for this to happen.

I worked with Mike at a couple of stations. I believe WGBS was one of them. For some reason I'm thinking I worked with him at WFTL in the Amaturo days too...not sure about that. The thing I remember about him was his passion. He loved what he did and he always wanted it to be the best. He will be missed.
