Mike Brophy

Anyone know where Mike Brophy is these days? Last I heard he was in Boston.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

God, that name sounds so familiar, but I can't place it. I used to work in New England, and I'm not sure if I crossed paths with him or not. Where did he use to work?

That's right! I thought I knew that name. Gosh, I remember him being at WKLB like 10 years ago, but I'm not sure what happened to him after that.

He was at WXTU for several of the early '80's formats - Rock of the '80's as Bill E., then the short lived urban format, and then stayed for a long time in the country format before going to Boston's country station.

I checked the WKLB website and he is still PD at WKLB, just not on the air anymore. In his blog he mentions he has been in country radio since March of '84, which is when XTU switched to country (3-1-84 at 1 pm).
