MIKE FM ALMOST SOUND LIKE RHYTHMIC AC (ALMOST-NOT QUITE)

They kind of sound like they are about to be Rhythmic AC. It's nothing to get to excited about, nothing to jump over your seat about. I noticed some good sounding music on there in the last five days.

All in all, they are ok. They have many kind of variety on their station. It's convienent if you like any kind of music.

Your thoughts please?

I don't know about that - personally I think it's wishful thinking. In looking at their playlist over the past several hours, it looks like they're still spinning less than 1 rhythmic song in 10. Pearl Jam, INXS, Foreigner, the Police, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith and others vastly outnumber the one Jackson 5 tune they played in the past hour.

And, it should be fine if you like 'variety' as that's the format. But it's not rhythmic by any means. In fact, it's pretty heavily rock-based. They're just throwing in a rhythmic "bone" once in a while to keep it interesting. I'd venture to say that even WROR is plays more rhythmic songs in an hour than Mike. And that's not saying much at all.

you might be 90% right. I did however heard some song on Friday by Jackson 5 that I never heard before, they do regually play Cameo.
Everything you said here sounds 90% right

WCGY played more rhythmic songs than garbage Mike . Majic 106.7 on sunday mornings ( Smooth jazz and R&B ) is Great .
