Will Morgan is a GENIUS,........A GENIUS, his forte however is Alternnative, whether it be Kroq LA, or a lot of his work on the Howard Stern show as he was the voice for along time too. I do think the Mike copy is very good fo what it is, having moved into station voicing myself and now that Im imaging about five different stations in different formats you would be shocked at how uninspired the copy can be at times..... I mean yo have to like that sort of irreverent/silly imaging. It's cut from the Jack mold and I think the theory is that he talks less than a jock, but to the average listener it doesnt matter if the on air voice is doing a ten second liner break like Mike/Jack do, or a 30 second actual jock break, if youre one of the ultra sensitive listeners who gets all annoyed when you hear anything other than a song, talk is talk and it doesnt matter how it is delivered. The advantage of the Mike?jack thing is that you're only paying a voice guy depending on how much copy theyre getting per week, anywhere from 500 to 2000 dollars a month as opposed to a full airstaff, elementary but people still question:"why dont ttheey have any dj's:"? in conversation from time tot ime.
