Mike Fowler - KZOK

So Mike Fowler used to run KZOK back in the early '90s and did a great job, from my POV. Most recently he GMed WLS in Chicago for Citadel. After two years of staying competitive with plummeting market revenues, hacking budgets and putting up with what must have been a very pressure filled atmosphere, he's booted. Does this ever end?
 
No, it doesn't.

I read that last Friday CC offed their 14-year-veteran midday jock from WKTU in NYC. No reason given - but we don't really need one, do we?
 
Radio is operating under an attitude of scarcity. Until an attitude of abundance returns, this will be SOP.
