Does anyone know what is up with 3WS's afternoon DJ Mike Frazer? He has not been on-air for almost 2 weeks, and last week Sheri Van Dyke made mention that Mike was "under the weather" and wished him well. Is he ill, have surgery, or something else? Inquiring minds want to know.
 
Laws prevent the employer from releasing information without the employee's consent. Nobody is going to knock on your door because you asked about it.

He's recovering and is expected back on the air next week.
 
If he has some serious illness and doesn't want it disclosed that's his right... and since he isn't around to give permission you have to assume you can't talk about it. In extreme cases you could set yourself up to get sued.
