Mike Harvey's SuperGold is back!

Mike tells me his "SuperGold" oldies show which was heard on Magic 96.1 will be heard starting this weekend on the new Majic 94.1. It will be on 6a-noon on Sunday till the first of the year. After the first of the year it should move to it's usual Saturday night time slot.

Mike is a super nice guy and played most of these songs on top 40 radio in Miami at WFUN when the were new.

;D Since you opened the door on this thread with your last comment, I knew Harvey well. Now I will throw out the proverbial age old question: Which was better Tiger Radio WQAM or WFUN! I vote for Dunlap and QAM!

That's a tough call. Both stations had their own unique place and style. WQAM had a heck of signal advantage since they are not directional. Where I lived WFUN was a bit hard to hear at night when they changed their directional pattern. WQAM was king of the hill and they knew it. WFUN was scrappier and a bit more adventurious in their approach. Both stations got clobbered quickly by FM, sooner than most markets.
