Mike Jerrick back in Philly @ Fox 29

He's hosting Good Day Philadelphia from 7-9am and tntil 10 when his Fox News show in repeats is off the air. Mike is replacing himself. I actually enjoyed him and Juliet Huddy when they hosted Fox & Friends weekend on Fox News Channel. Too bad he didn't bring Juliet with him down here to Philly. Welcome back Mike!

It's been a little over a month since the return of Mike Jerrick to Fox 29. I don't know about the rest of you, but I really enjoyed "Good Day Philadelphia" prior to his arrival. The show was an alternative to the happy talk of the other morning newscasts, and I could count on John and Sheinelle giving me the news without the double entendre and worthless chit chat. Don't get me wrong, a pleasant personality the first thing in the morning is fine, but let's rein it in a tad, okay? Jen has always been a little hard to take over a bowl of cereal, but now she's found a new foil in Jerrick (other than Steve Keeley) and it's "blah blah blah" from the time he steps onto the set. I don't think they've gone to Fox's Doug Luzader at all this week because of Kanye West, Kate Gosselin or whatever other celebrity news is going on. A suggestion: Mike, this ain't "The View." Polish up whatever journalistic chops you have, leave the 24-ouncer off camera and give me back my "Good Day" without the "coffee talk."
Just my $.02.

Is the traffic girl gone, Jamie, I did not care for her, too pompous. I enjoyed Dorothy, who she replaced, she was real and entertaining.
