Mike Jerrick is taking heat for on-air comments he made Monday morning about Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway.

When it happened, Good Day Philadelphia had two guests on to talk about Trump. After showing the clip where Conway uses the now viral term “alternative facts” with NBC’s Chuck Todd, one of the show’s guests made the point Conway was good at spinning facts.

“She’s good at bullshit,” replied Jerrick. Shortly after, his co-anchor Alex Holley apologized to viewers on-air for the expletive.

Fox spokesperson Erica Keane told TVSpy, “This is not in line with FOX Television Stations guidelines and the matter has been addressed.”

Note this is on Fox O&O WTXF Philadelphia during a segment on the Trump Cabinet and their weekend.
 
From the clip I saw, all he did was mutter a single swear word. FOX over-reacted, but of course they would. Mike didn't tote the company line. Now the question is how much promotion and hype during the first week of sweeps will be geared towards this so-called story and his return to the airwaves.
 
If Mike had just muttered the letters BS instead of the whole word he'd be ok. You still cannot say the second half of that word on broadcast TV.

Boy of course Fox reacted that way simply because they don't want to end up in another feud with Trump. Although Note its the "Fox Television stations" division of Fox and not Fox News Channel. But still the way things are going now who knows how the general public look at this.


I watched the clip and I happen to agree on Jerrick on the rant. But then again even though its a different division of FOX its the O&O division. The general pubic would judge him for his politics even though this is not the National Fox News though. However I don't know myself if Mike Jerrick would be put in the same microscope as NBC host Megyn Kelly. But feuding with Trump is pretty risky though for both Fox News and Fox O&O due to its demographics. Its way too easy to spark a reaction from the president and his people though especially if its the one that attracts the voters of the president.
