Mike King

I've seen info on the recent tragic circumstances around WBZ traffic reporter Mike King on twitter and elsewhere on the web.

Looking at the WBZ Radio website there is nothing about it - did they cover the story on the air? I thought maybe they would have a bit more info or remembrances of him.

It really isn't a news story at this point, radio people are just "meat in the seat" at this point to corporate, stick someone else in the chair.

People that worked with him have said nice things about him on their socials, there is a Go Fund Me to assist his parents.

Meanwhile, WBZ AM's owner..in the news:
The Verge headline--
>>Google paid millions to radio hosts to endorse the Pixel 4 — even though they hadn’t used it/Google and iHeartMedia will have to pay more than $9 million in penalties over the ads.

Google paying off people to promote their line of phones? FOR SHAME!!! Now I'm going to read more posts on Radio Discussions, from my amazing Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Regarding the OP, I can only theorize that they might be waiting for more details surrounding how he died, before bringing it up on their air.
