So allaccess yesterday reported that Mike Mullaney is going from Mix to be OM/PD - mornings at the River. Is this a good move?

What does Mix do? Do they hire another off-air music director or do they try to assign it to someone already there?

Interesting, I guess they must have either made him a very sweet offer. Either that or he just got tired of working at Mix instead.

Now what will Mix do? Maybe they will up Erin O'malley to APD instead. Either that or not fill the position at all, but who knows in this day and age.

...or could see the writing on the wall at Mix.

Maybe he saw that the future of off-air MD's isn't bright.

Maybe he saw that his chances of getting a PD spot at Mix were nil.

Quite possibly, but how long had he been there as the APD and the position had became open now? I hope that he does some good things for the River too!

Really? Wow. If I've said it a million times before, I'm saying it 1,000,001:

Class act. He deserves this, and will excel at it.
