Mike & Mad Dog Update and Stern Tip

In case you missed this ditty about WFAN's Mike & The Mad Dog from Newsday (yesterday).... http://www.newsday.com/services/new...ports/ny-spwfan125761450jul12,0,3120228.story

Per the NY Post (Page Six from Thursday)...Howard Stern & Beth O. leaving a 50% tip on a $ 166 bill at Savanna"s in Southampton.

If you ask me the worst thing that took Howard out of the spotlight was losing the E! show. He was coming into America's livingrooms each night for sixty minutes.

Based on that story, has anyone thought about how this could be a ploy to get more money out CBS? I mean, I understand that they've had their issues, but doesn't this seem like it could possibly be part of a bigger plan? Maybe, I'm being a conspiracy theorist. I don't want to come across that way, but this is just too wierd. The best tandem in sports milking a fall out? Sounds strange, but possibly not out of the realm of possibility or is it?

I agree on Stern. I rarely tuned into the radio show. If i did it was on my commute possibly for 5 minutes, but I always seem to watch the show on E!.
