Mike Malloy on Sirius

Mike Malloy, formerly of Air America and now being syndicated by Nova M, is now being carried on the "Left" channel on Sirius. Interesting lineup of lefties there: Bill Press, Alex Bennett, Thom Hartmann, Lynn Samuels, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, and Malloy.

interesting.

I see Siruis also offers 2 NPR channels, so I guess that means in satellite land, 'progressives' will run away from Malloy and into the warm, comforting arms of NPR just like in terrestrial world :D

Actually, I'd prefer to listen to Press, Bennett, Hartmann, or Malloy than to the opera, cooking, antiques, and beer-making (beer-making!) shows on my local NPR affiliate.

Hey, just don't diss "Car Talk". The Tappet Brothers are great!

BTW: When is the beer-making show on?

Northeast Public Radio has a call-in show called "Vox Pop" at 2pm, ET. They rotate subjects, one of which is home-brewing and another of which is antiques. They also have poetry days on which people call in and read their favorites. I'm not sure when the beer-making shows are on, since I'm not at all interested in making my own. BTW, in case you didn't notice, I did NOT say that I'd rather listen to Lynn Samuels, Ed Schultz, or Stephanie Miller than this stuff. I'm one liberal who'd rather listen to my own thoughts than these annoying people.
