Mike McConnell follow-up interview: any questions?

Last year, I interviewed Mike McConnell for my podcast (listen to it at http://podcast.radiogirl.us/2010/10/mike-mcconnell-from-cincinnati-to.html, and the response was so positive on this board and via email, that I asked him if he'd do a follow-up interview, and he said yes. So does anyone have any questions for him? I'd do another interview if there's some interest.

He's a very nice guy. I can see why he was so popular in Cincinnati.

With all due respect, I think most of his loyal listeners from the early glory days have moved on.

His attitude on his shows had been sliding downhill even before he went syndication.

I think many of us are just fine with the memories...but he doesn't exist anymore.

I think he sounds great on WGN. They've toned down the snarkiness in him quite a bit IMO. The WGN show more than likely could not and would not be syndicated; WGN is focusing much more on Chicago. Then they have to get the News/Weather/Traffic/Farm/Stock market in every half hour.

I would ask how he's adjusted since the crew that he hired in with is mostly gone.

The Chicago thing is what Kersting told me when i discussed it with him.
Shoot, it would have been real easy to air it in Cincy since he was producing the show at the WQRT studios.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll hold off on doing the interview right now in case there are more responses.

Good idea. I was just posting the question in this section because I got positive responses about the interview from current and former Cincinnati folks.

I just want to let folks know that I'm probably going to do the follow-up interview next week, so if you have questions, let me know. Then I'll post the link here :)
