Mike & Mike Breathing Down Boomer & Carton's Neck...

I think people are really starting to realize how annoying B&C are. Their constant arguing with each other really makes the show unbearable, especially early in the morning.
 
If ESPN gets an FM signal, Mike & Mike could overtake Boomer & Carton. Also, if ESPN gets on FM, CBS won't hesitate to put WFAN on 92.3 or 102.7, more likely 92.3 IMHO.

I'm a bit too old for the 25-54 "money demo", but I prefer Mike & Mike to B & C. Boomer's OK, but Carton is a juvenile! BTW, I thought Carton was quitting if the Giants won the Super Bowl. Whatever happened with that? :)
 
I'm sure CBS won't want to let what happened to their sports radio empire in Philadelphia repeat in the larger market of New York. Yet, they're really between a rock and a spoken word place with 92.3. They should head off ESPN at the pass and turn 92.3 into a WFAN simulcast - but they won't.

As far as Craig quitting... we should be so lucky - but it's what we in the radio business call a "radio bit". :eek:
