As a devoted Eric Hogue listener, it will be sad to see him go. He has done an excellent job and has been very friendly to all of us who called in and were guests on the show.

But it speaks to the type of work that he does that he would be hired by KFBK.

I'm surprised two people even listen to Eric Hogue (even on TWO stations) to be able to comment.

Mr. Nevis has posted before...he's a long-time listener of that station. And the other gentleman on this thread isn't just a listener...he's their engineer...

I just wanted to add another reply because I know Mike Murray pretty well, and he's really one of radio's "nice guys". He should have, IMHO, been APD long ago, certainly after the station's long-time APD/EP left for ABC in New York City...but for whatever reason, it never happened. I'm glad he has the chance now.

I'll add that Mr. Murray got the raw end of a deal from CC awhile back. I'm happy that Alan Eisenson and the new blood in the newsroom is able to get Mike back on board.
